Staying home has been an adjustment for all of us.
Here are a few ideas to make staying in just as fun going out.
Stay Connected
It is more important than ever to stay connected and check in on your loved ones. Since the beginning of COVID-19 everyone has been asked to stay home and to stay away from people outside of their households. This has been isolating for many, we are social creatures who thrive off of connecting with others. In order to keep us all from going crazy, make an effort to reach out to your family and friends. In this post we show you how you can safely stay connected during COVID-19.

Play Games on FaceTime

Playing games over video chat is actually very fun! It will make you feel as though you were sitting right next to your loved ones. You can play several games over FaceTime or Zoom! You can play charades, hangman, would you rather, Pictionary and so much more. All you need is some creativity and you can play any game! Games will give you a laugh and entertain you. Try it out!
Host a Zoom Theme Party

If you miss attending social gatherings and parties, no need to worry! You can throw a virtual event. Send a virtual invitation out to your friends and include a zoom link! Choose a dress up theme and play some games! Go crazy with your theme ideas. You can do a Great Gatsby theme, a decades theme or a little white lies theme. The possibilities are truly endless, so be creative!
Schedule a Weekly Call

Making good habits and staying connected with friends and family is very important. Set up a weekly zoom call with your family! You can do it at dinner time so you can eat and catch up! This will make your loved ones feel appreciated and connected with you. Keeping social connections strong is going to be beneficial to you and your loved ones. It is always nice to feel like you have people in your life who care deeply about you.
Host a Netflix Watch Party

We covered this in our blog post in this series in October, but it is so good we had to share it again! Netflix has service called Watch Party that allows for you to watch a film simultaneously with your friends. This is great if you miss going to the movie theaters, but is is almost better because you are in the comfort of your own home! Pick a fun film and set up a movie date.
